Do none of you find this all a bit embarassing? Does it really matter who's playing when it's a 'classics' night?

Not when you can’t even spell the word ;)

And not that id ever expect you to understand Danny me owld mukka, but I’ll try...

Guy is worshiped up here due to being one of the cornerstones of Promise in it’s 'heyday'. He was solely responsible for creating some of the most memorable nights in its history (last ever Promise in 05 was a particular one that’s cemented in my tiny mind). But I digress, he still has a cult following up here & is only 1 of a very few dying breed of DJ’s that’s capable of pulling clubbers out of their scratcher' to come to nights of this kind to make it more than ‘just another Trance Classics night’.

The reason everyone is beating on about the importance of weather this will be an all vinyl set, or simply 'another classics' set is pretty straight forward - you simply wont get to hear the majority of potential tracks he’s remembered for if it’s not all vinyl, as there as rare as rocking horse shit. Probably the best way to explain the sheer thought that he puts into these types of sets is best explained via his video he made ahead of his all vinyl set for Passion back in January this year:

I just think that the reputability of such nights has taken an overall battering due to the constant churning out of events that, on the face of things, propose exactly the same as this one. That's the view of somebody who feels fairly indifferent towards the genre anyway.

My main gripe is now with you Gary Proud. I'm sure you understand that we all make the odd spelling or grammar mistake (I'll refrain from pointing out the irregularities in your previous post), but to dismiss the point I was making due to such a menial problem smacks of somebody who is quite conscious of their own grammatical abilities. I've never felt like this since 6th year, when I misspelled the word 'chassis' on a piece of display work for the corridor wall and my teacher made me write my work in pencil for a whole month afterwards. I'll be sure to go through your future posts with a fine toothcomb...mark my words.

The vast majority of teachers use the abbreviation 'sp.' to indicate a spelling error in a child's work, Trance Ghandi.
