    just seen the new panda its even uglier than the 80's version :lol:

    brid think the alfas a little too slick for me and my mate has one that always breaks down... I'm thinking about maybe going green a forfour or honda hybrid :cool:

    just remember the electricity generated to charge your green car was probably done in a nasty polluting powerstation :)

    Fiat coupes are amazing cars - they are dirt cheap as well.

    ... And, like my GTV, they were styled by Pininfarina who do Ferarri's :)

    i don't get the whole battery powered car like, as you said the power comes from a powerstation anyway, and battery cars use so much electricity it would be better on the environment to use petrol/diesel

    They bring pollution down in inner cities, which is quite a good idea, at least in london it is where a day out and about has you blowing black snots into your hankercheif by the end of the day.

    Cars are at their most inefficient when theyre accelerating. If you combine an engine which constantly turns at the same speed and a reserve of energy you end up with something much more efficient over a given period of time....

    smart four four uses the same chassis as about 3 other cars, mitzi colt, honda jazz too i think.... they look pretty but are expensive

    Having ruled out all the good car manufacturers, wanting something cool and not being bothered about acceleration, I'd probably get a Toyota Prius.

    we lower our dependency on oil..

    they, despite the myths can run at perfectly decent speeds - should you be going over 70mph? and last for a range of 200 miles without needing to be recharged...

    they don't fill our cities and countryside with fumes..

    they use far less fossil fuels than petrol and diesel and don't require fuel delivery from deisel guzzling tankers which massively reduces their emmissions..

    they don't require huge, polluting refineries...

    they have the potential to be 100% renewable..
