    Cd's to mp3

I'm a bit new to this - got mixed cd's that I want to put on me mp3 player. When I copy them across they play on mp3 with a gap - what's the best way to get round this?

You're pretty stuck to be honest.

Most MP3 players can't manage gapless - though you can put new firmware on ipods/irivers etc that makes them do it, and I think the newer ipods can.

If you want gapless now, your best bet is to rip your CDs as one big file - ie one 70 minute long music file.

The best program to use is Exact Audio Copy, but it's not that easy to get started on!

Perhaps best to let everyone know what MP3 player and software you're using, and see if anyone has it and has found an easy way round.

if it's an ipod - let itunes 7 rip the CDs and copy to the ipod as it uses gapless playback.

It's a creative muvo v100. I've just been copying the cd's straight to it but I've got Nero, would it be better to use that?
