Tune that got you into dance music...

Given the new focus on music I was wondering what track first got everyone into dance music?? I know there's probably been loads of similar threads but thought it would pass the time this afternoon!!

Mine was William Orbit - Barbers Adagio, I remember being sat on the floor of my room trying to do some Food Tech homework listening to the local commercial radio station when I first heard it. It was the radio edit so was just the strings initially, sounded fucking strange on a station which normally played RnB type stuff, then the synths and drums kicked in and I was hooked.

Went out and bought 'Pure' Euphoria the next day and never looked back!! Some quality tunes on that album aswell - Delerium - Heaven's Earth
    Space Brothers - Shine 2000
    Dutch Force - Deadline
    Matt darey - Beautiful
    Ralph Fridge - Angel
Des Mitchell - Welcome to the Dance

    Anyone else??

N-Trance - Set You Free was another early favourite

Some of the production is cringing but proper feel good, hands in the air music :D

This was the second dance album I bought...

Probably 'House Nation', in 1987 or so. Before some people on here were born, which is rather worrying. Went to my first proper club in 1988 (The Wag, with Mark Moore playing).

Probably years ago (must have been about 9) hearing Robert Miles - Children then going to HMV and asking for "that dance remix of the X Files theme". I got pointed to the original X Files soundtrack. :$

Was quite a few years later untill I found out what it actually was.

Then it was hearing Planet Perfecto Feat. Grace - Not Over Yet on an advert for a dance music album and CRW - Feel Love

Got CRW ID'd by some bloke at a computer fair when I went to buy some CD's and Planet Perfecto from some bloke in HMV a few years earlier.

They were in my head for years.
