Out in the sticks cool as fukk gang! :)
apparently the remote isnt very 'grippy' so after playing for a while, sweaty hands etc, it just slides out of your hands... hence the reason for the strap. but the strap itself is apparently not much more than a string, so snaps very easily...

all the same  at people smashing 60 inch plasma screens with the wiimote

I am working for Nintendo on the run up to chirstmasin argos, basically demonstrating the Wii and letting people have a go. Before they do, they have to read a disclaimer and sign basically to say Nintendo are not held responsible if any injuries are caused.

We had a training day last week, we got to play on it for most of the day. The gameplay is really good and it is great for first timers. Its not the sort of thing you pick up and have to ask what the buttons are if you know what i mean.

I can see how people can get injured but that is only due to people getting carried away, there is atennis ame and you don't actually have to smash the ball like you would in tennis you jus move you arm in the same direction you would if you were playing.

im starting this week so come and have a go its really good, we are demonstrating it in argos, on thur, fri, sat and sun every week until chrismtas eve, so come and visit me :D

to be fair i can see the appeal of having to dance around like a monkey to play any game wearing thin pretty fast!!

Is there a normal button controller for when you dont feel like motion realistic play...?

the games dont require you to do that, simple wrist movements are fine. just its a lot more fun with family and friends in the front room jumping around:)
