since joining, all i've had is grief from french william, or read french william griefing others, at every single available opportunity.

if i ran this board i think id be tempted to pull the plug, im sure youd find more maturity in reception class.

I don't think you should pull the plug on this board. Although I'm not an avid poster I do like reading it.

I think it could with some new members. As things can be a bit cliquey on here.:)

What??? This is an absolute load of bollocks.

I've always taken the mick out of anyone or anything on this board. To now be labelled as one of the main reasons why it should be shut is a joke. Even bong-eyes tolerated me til i mentioned dyslexia.
I feel grateful to Rob (despite having never met him) for keeing the board going, and I hope he does so as long as he can be arsed.

Threads like this add nothing to what is, geeky or not, an online community. If people treated it as a community and accepted the fact that, in their own way, each person gets something from it, then it'll work out fine. On the other hand, if peple treat it as no more than a cyber pissing competition, then it'll obviously worsen to the point where the Sheriff of Mardingham does decide to pull the plug.

Kids will whinge about what's wrong with something, adults will look at what's wrong with something and take corrective action. If people think I'm a bad/disruptive influence, then i'll change or leave. But getting rid of the board would be a massive act of overkill, and i don't think anyone wants it gone (even melt/MoS/scruf/Rob).

there is absolutly no reason to closed down this board, unless that is, if Rob is making a loss, however there are alot of people on here who make robs efforts seem wasted, without robs efforts id be a few mates short and id be a bit bored sometimes. i might have also gave had a life but thats debateable, so i just wish people would shut up about it being closed, fair enough moan about why you come on it but to suggest it needs closing its sad

voting to have the board shut down makes you look like a total twat... if you don't like it don't post here, plenty of us do enjoy it.

i think it should stay, as long as it's not cost rob owt - it's here by his grace. it would be a shame to see it go

As for my personal feelings - yes, the place is dire at the moment, some real anal warts that piss me off - however, by it's nature it's a public forum and u have to tolerate everyone. if u don't like it, don't post. thats been my rule - and i stick by it. what do i always say? if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

i like the technology sections and the mixes and the music - i still get what i want from it - and let the cliquey children play and bitch at each other.

i always try and not join any cliques - i try be equal with everyone - everyone seems to have 'board' personas sometimes but most people i personally have met, are spot on in real life and i'd hate to lose touch with anyone
