You insensitive bastard, it was hard enough when our 'Lady' Di passed away, now the crocodile catcher is gone too. From the moment I was found out this morning I have felt my life is devoid of purpose, I feel empty :(

It cut me through the heart..

He did kinda have it comin to him.... Like when he had a hold of the worlds most venemous snake by its tail and has the nerve to say stuff like "This fella is getting pretty angry right now, if he bites me im in big trouble" Well let go of the fuckin thing then!

It's probably quite ironic that he was killed by a usually quite harmless stingray. There's only one other Australian been killed by a stingray since records began, and that was in 1945...

    Isn't particularly nice.

There's not really any irony in playing with a razor-sharp 20cm spike coated with venom, and then getting killed by it.

The irony comes in the fact that he was constantly doing raj things with creatures that could easily have killed him; crocodiles, komodo dragons, venomous snakes, etc., and then is killed by a stingray which has very weak venom and is usually harmless...

for him to have died as he did was sad...

he didn't have that coming to him at all :tut:

he has done so much for the conservation of animals mainly crocodiles & snakes which many people are frightened or have phobias of. he did alot to help people understand these creatures so that they live on in the future.

i feel for his wife & kids..44 is no age to die & leave them

Guy was a legend, did so much to promote conservation. At least he died doing what he loved. Sad day.
