Im a total wine whore - and my liver hates me for it.

Dont buy any mass marketed, additive laden rubbish - its cheap, nasty and gives you a hangover.

Best ones for me right now are bordeaux or beajolais wines - The wine shop near me has a great Pomerol for 14.99 and georges du boef beajolais for about 7.99.

Rioja aswell is fantastic - but only if its 5-10 years old... i find it too harsh and tannic otherwise.

    Wine snob :D

    love red!!

chateneuf du pape.. preferably 2001 is boootiful!!

or from the same family a nice amaroni or vola pala celi is very fruitfull! slightly oakfull in taste with berries from the maturest region..

champagne is also high on list, italian preferably.. preseco perhaps.. mmmm

also love my german wine! hock / piesporter / leibfremaulch...

not much difference in which german u buy... all relatively dry, rich in apples & pears. :)

 There is a massive difference between German whites! Leibfraumilch is medium/sweet for a start (and utterly vile).

Champage is just sparkling wine made in the 'champagne' appellation(region) of france.

You cant call any other sparkling wine champagne, unless its from there.
