Liquid in the Bigg Market isn't really chav-tastic decor-wise. It's actually a nice little space with a decent sound system, it's just in a terrible location and full of idiots, with a horrendous music policy.

That Twisted Logic do used to be good down there, it's a shame it doesn't have that kind of clientéle all of the time.

Who else is going to go if there playing the same music? They'll just dress a bit better to get in, it'll just be the same people though!

used to go when i was in my first year for "carry on" on a wed as it was a student night. but alas that soon died off

Surely it depends on the music though. You wouldn't go Fri/Sat though, the main nights!

if they get rid of the chav, which tbh if they want to they will, (it so easy to spot a chav) i'd definatly go.

ikon did some class student nights in my first year... i loved it cos the we had loads of the monday night free drink vouchers and it was a decent cheesy place to start off.

not been in about 3 years now though, never been on a 'hew hew charver crew' night either.

Its not being run by the liquid on the Bigg market
Its supposedly going to change its music style to Blu Bambu style and pull in that crowd.
If they name themselves liquid, Liquid on the Bigg Market are taking them to court, last I heard they were going to call themselves "oceaona"

the place is a fucking dive, i cant believe theres such a massive subculture of cunts

i admit going there in 98/99...and it was good,i never had any bother at all..but now,no chance,last there in 2003 with galaxy doing an event (hangs heed in shame)..and it was total tits up knob ends and ugly birds with gold hoops you could skip thru.
