    shit just have to use wires for the time being, loving the media connect thing so you can stream music to your xbox from your pc, very cool feature.

    You can steam movies too if you stick media center edition windows on a pc. saves burning dvds all the time...

    nah mate, apparently it plays these as well:

    * MPEG-1 with MPEG audio
    * MPEG-2 with MPEG audio or AC-3 audio
    * WMV 7, 8, & 9 with WMA Standard or WMA Pro audio
    * WMV Image 1 & 2 (Photo Story 1, 2, & 3)

    I've only really tried MPEG2 & MP4 though- both work very well- there's a way to stream divx but it looked like a pain in the arse to set up- has to convert it on the fly as it streams it. can also play live telly if your media center pc is set up to do so and use your pc as a PVR

    I tried to use divx but had no joy. I use the old xbox with xbmc installed, that plays all formats :)
