biggles to the rescue

    biggles to the rescue

    Went flying in this yesterday and the instructor let me fly it about for 40 minutes. We got to 7000 feet above harrogate and I could see some mountains in wales, the coastline over liverpool way and quite far along the east too. it was a great experience :)

    The instructor was telling me it only takes 3 years to get your licence, I would love to give up work and go for it but I cant :(

    I've had 10 hours on a cesna 152. My older Bros a pilot and he taught me years ago whilst he was doing his commercial licence but alas he has moved on to better things so i couldnt finish. He now flies A320 Airbus for Royal Brunei Airlines.

    haha no mate that was taken after we had landed

    it was hot

    that was the first lesson, just looked at getting my ppl and it costs between 5k-7k so I might start looking to get that from next year

    I'd love to take lessons. I flew in France last year with the brother-in-law who has his license. Can't wait to go back this year as i'd love another go :D
