I think no matter what you wear, if you stand out and look like a charv you'll not get in. I've been with loads of my mates who've got (decent) tatoo's and dress in stylish, but casual clothes - ripped jeans, faded tee's etc etc - and we've never had a problem getting in. Unless you're completely pissed or look like you could be trouble, I can't see why you had a problem. You weren't wearing a pair of loafers, black pinstripe trousers and a chequed short sleeve Ben Sherman shirt by any chance? Oh, and did you go there via the Pig & Whistle like, hew
