PVD is the only Trance DJ not to have sold his soul to the Devil (Parp) IMO.

Armin is PVD's love child so he doesn't count.

Tiesto was close to him for a while but hes playing all sorts now inc. Electro & Techno.

The UK jock's of Guy, Bond etc. all play samey PARP.

Ferry is ok but he doesn't DJ as much these days.

EVERYONE who has seen PVD recently have been saying how good hes playing........... the 21st at Gatecrasher should be a special night indeed.

    Agree with Technofish 110 %

Van Dyk has been @ the helm for that long now - his sets never falter his mixing is spot on and there is never a hint of stilton in his tune selection !!!

Every time ive seen him the nights been unreal - Crasher @ Heaven, 6hr Set @ GC, @ Promise, GCSSS - all of them nights have been nothing short of perfect !!

I keep saying it but the night he retns to Promise i will be a very very happy Geordie along with a few more off here who see the Lord as the best there is !!!!

    BOOK HIM A.S.A.P !

But surely Mark its for the best interest of Promise that by bookin Paul Van Dyk the club will be rammed to death and the night will be a success ???

Every night no matter where he plays its a near enough sell out - i think you need to look no further than Gatecrasher for his 6hr sets to see what a success he is - the last time he was booked Promise was heaving and personally i think that night was my best night there - i know a few more that had a quality night

Loads have said it and i will too - Van Dyk is the Lord of Trance therefore with Promise bein the club it is booking him can only be a good thing..........

    Aye ???

Iv heard Hardwick play "Operartion Blade" & "Castles in the Sky" ... the former is PARP of the highest order!

It would be well worth promise booking PVD again. Last time he played they it totally rocked! And the place was the busiest i'd ever seen it.

He played castles in the sky before galaxy got hold of it and became 'uncool'. Just admit its a decent tune but one of the many that gets over played by radio stations hell bent on destroying every good tune. As for operation blade no comment.

    Nice to hear :D :D

I said that i would only go to Creamfields to see maybe Oakey but Deffo Paul Van Dyk !

Come the Sunday turns out the bloke stole the show coz apparently Tiesto was struggling with the mixer n also left PVD some shit tune to mix in much to the amusement of the German !!!

    BOOK HIM !!!!!!!!!!

    Phil,

It was the Judge who staggered on after Hardwicks set and dropped Castles In The Sky at the last Sound System. This was not Matts doing.

The cheesy lyrics in that song still make me cringe to this very day. It tried so hard to be the next Silence, but didn't even come close!
