    Turnmills last night (PVD)

Gordon bennet i have never seen queues like these before!

Stupidly i didnt get a ticket ahead of time, so after meeting crasherkid, fink and friends i nipped off 'early' to get in the turnmills queue at about 10pm ......

..... Didnt get into the club till half 12!!! There must have been at least double the number of people that they could hope to have squeezed in, in the queue and wouldnt let a single non ticket holder in until they had let all ticket holders in and VIPs. I was honestly about 5 minutes from saying to hell with it all and going home and then suddenly they actually started letting us in.

Anyways - the club was packed like you would not BELIEVE and my brand spanking new diesil sneakers went from white to black in about 10 stamps

Aside from that the music was absolutely mint - trance from the word go and im pleased to say Judge Jules played a really good set - honestly! When PVD came on the place just went totally crazy and they even had people on the doors into and out of the rooms stopping people getting in unless there was a stampede!

Aside from that it was basically just 5 hours of really good music, at the best club for it in the country. And really good to see people like crasherkid, batfink, missy, dr flutterbye and a few others :D

Shame about the few that made it down that i saw getting turned down by the bouncers for looking a bit :spangled: - bad crack :(

Wicked night, and ill spend the ENTIRE week suffering because of it ;)

still gutted i was only inside for about 10 mins, after about 4 hrs on the train the power-crazed doormen knocked slash back for being 'too pissed', despite the fact he'd only had about 3 cans on the train :spangled:

then after being told to come back in an hour we had a few cokes down the road and came back to be told we just werent getting in, despite the fact we had bought advance tickets and were both stone cold sober when we went back. turnmills will be getting a very fucking strongly worded letter of complaint after that like, fucking shocking imo

good night?? aye i love going on road trips to spend thick end of 8 hrs on the streets of london :(

theres nothing that a strongly worded letter can do, noone will really care, and youd be wasting your time. you dont have a right to get into a club, even with tickets. sounds as though maybe your mates face didnt fit, and they just used that as an excuse

it may not do anything, i will feel better after it though, and mixmag/djmag will also be getting letters about it. if nothing else to make the club aware of the fucking dickheads they are employing. i know if i was a club owner/promoter, or in any line of business, and someone had made the effort that we had to get there i wouldnt want my customers treat like that.

their attitude was fucking shocking, hes been to just about every decent trance club in the uk and his face has fit fine, its not even as if he was pissed/wrecked like they were saying he was, or he was some scummy charver who may cause trouble. what made it worse was them telling us to return in an hour, then another hour, before in the end telling us we just werent getting in. and their reply of 'its not my problem' when i said how far we had came for the night.

    cunts

What did you do then Graham?

You should have tried another club if it wasn't too late by then.

I'd deffinitely write a few letters, out of principle.

we first tried queing for fabric, though after an hour in the que and still getting nowhere (the ques were  ) we had a couple of drinks in some funky house bar next door to fabric, before trying turnmills one last time around 2/3am.

we then gave up and asked a taxi driver to take us to the nearest club, which turned out to be the end where aquasky were playing, and we caught the last couple of hours which was fairly good

if only they had told us earlier if they werent going to let us in and we could have gone straight there, like i said though their attitude in general was shocking. defo going to write a few letters even if they dont do any good, just to make myself feel better lol.

thats shit, i think djmag will be interested in this more because of the fact they told youse to come back then still didn't let youse in, it sounds like a bouncer just had a bad night and felt like taking it out on someone and what better way than to ruin someone elses night, twats
