comet they are an abstolute joke.. my brother ordered a dvd camcorder off their site & it was supposed to get delivered to uor house on monday.. my dad stayed in all day & it didn't turn up.. when he rang them it'd been dispatched from their warehouse & it should have been delivered... my dad argued the toss with them about taking a days hol for delivery etc they said they'd ring him yesterday at work to tell him a) it had been delivered on tue to our local postoffice b) it was going to get delivered thurs morning when he got in from work there was a message on our home phone advising him it'd been signed for on tue by someone called chipcase.. we don't know anyone by that name, they don't know what number they delivered it to & there was no card put through our door
Join the club... I ordered a load of stuff that happens to be my girlfriend's christmas presents from johnlewis.co.uk, I specify tuesday delivery.... Stuff doesn't turn up. The citylink tracking number doesn't work either. I rang them up yesterday to see what's going on, they tell me citylink has managed to lose the entire consignment en transit. Not only that but they can't send me out the items as a replacement consignment because they have none left :evil: They gave me a refund but it will take 6 days to be credited... thank fuck I've been paid
