CDJ 800s Im looking to buy some cdj800s off the net, has anyone bought such equipment and can recommend the most reliable sites to purchase them from??
I've bought 3 sets of gear from DJstore now (www.djstore.co.uk). They're brilliant at getting stuff to you and I would recommend them to anyone who asked
Sadly no djdeals.co.uk do, decks.co.uk might as well. DJstore do price-match on most of their gear though
www.decks.co.uk is what ive always used, never had problems and you can phone them and negotiate a deal if you are spending a lot of cash there. good company.
THEY ARE AMAZING CD DECKS. THE BEST YOU CAN. MUCH BETTER THEN THOSE SHITTY TECHNICS ONES. THE SPINNING PLATTER DOES ITS JOB RATHER THAN FUCK UP LIKE THE TECHNICS. AND ALL YOU TECHNICS FANS CAN GO SUCK DICK CAUSE PIONEERS OWN THE CDJ MARKET
MAYBE I DONT LIKE FINISHING SENTENCES. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION EVERY DJ THAT I HAVE SPOKE TO HAS SAID THE PIONEER CDJ'S REGARDLESS OF MODEL ARE BETTER THEN EVERYTHING ELSE!
PENDULEM, JOHN B, GAMET, MUMBLZ, EL HORNET (EVOL INTENT), MARY ANNE HOBBS! AND IF YOU THINK IM LYING GOOD FOR YOU.
I wouldn't of said that was entirely true. A few of me mates dj d'n'b and I joined in back2back at a party one night playing some of their records and, because most were in a 4/4 rhythm similar to HH and trance once you'd found that rhythm with the tune you were queing up, you could drop it in no bother. If you think you can mix, try something below 150bpm 'cos the slower beat, the harder it becomes to mix as there's more room for error.
theres a forum for this sorta thing, jess should be ontop of this not deleting/editing credible posts.
I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO PASS THEMSELVES OFF AS INTELLIGENT BY NITPICKING ONES SPELLING MISTAKES! TRUE TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. BUT MIXING AT 185BPM TAKES MORE SKILL THEN MIXING AT 125-150 AND THATS DEPENDANT ON THE STYLE ASWELL. THERE'S MORE CHANCES OF ERROR WITH SLOWER BEATS AND HOUSE BECAUSE OF THE REQUIREMENTS TO MIX IN KEY, WHERE AS HARD HOUSE AND TRANCE DOESNT HAVE A KEY SO THEREFORE IT AINT AS HARD TO DO!
None of the Pioneer CDJs do. It's the Denon desktop-style players that have them... (with the exception of the DNS1000).
