can anyone tell me just wondering if anyone can help, everytime i click onto internet explorer, another extra screen comes up with it called "when you search" so whatever site i go on etc it comes up with an extra web page full of other sites related to the topic. How do i stop this as it's doing my head in!!!!
get rid of internet explorer as that is probably some spyware/adware or something. do a check on your virus thingy and make sure everything is up to date but i would strongly suggest this instead
Try removing it in Control Panel (Go to Add/Remove Programs) and look for it in there. If you can find it click on it once and then click 'Remove'. If it's adware or malware, it may not have a remove option. In which case, refer to dodgy's bible of all things PC (the sticky at the top of the 'Geeks' thread page ), this will point you in the direction of some good adware removal tools (Ad-Aware and SpyWare Doctor being the two I can think of off the top of my head).

i suggest you don't use internet explorer. no one should. use mozilla firefox instead, just download here for free. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
