Fist Clenching

Right I know this is a really weird thing but its really started to get on my nerves and I duno why its happening....Every morning recently Ive been waking myself up recently by really hurting myself...I have been clenching my fists in my sleep and as ive got long nails they have been digging into the palms of my hands and then are all sore and dinted. Should I wear mitts or something to stop this happening? Does it happen to anybody else?

I have this habit too, that and cracking my thumbs. Luckily I have typical bloke nails so it's no problem.

I usually do this when I get nightmares by the way so I don't think its built up anger (I don't have any built up anyways)

this happens to me aswell, its usually when i've been lying on my arm and i wake up and the whole things numb and i cant unclench my fist. i dont have the nail problem thank fuck !

I know I was worried about them snapping but they are read and I put nail strengthner on everyday so I don't think there is muh chance of that happening!

you need something substaitial to wrap your hands around at night.

jess i used to bite my lip in my sleep and wounded myself quite badly once, sometimes its stress/ dreams that make you do it. Try sleeping with one arm under your pillow with your hand out stretched and the other just by your side hand outstretched.
