If i was with a lass and she said "instead of going to the match do you fancy a day out shopping and a nice meal", my reply would simply be "NO". It depends tho, if it was summit important like a wedding or birthday or summit like that i would THINK about it :p

I used to be extremely passionate about supporting Newcastle, but these days football just seems to have gone 'off-the-boil' ... i'm not really sure what it is ... I guess Fat Freddie just pisses me off !!

Anyway, I reckon it's british tradition to support the underdog ... as soon as a team starts to dominate the league, everyone hates them and wants anyone but them to win.

that just british culture though.. .same with celebs, bands, DJS, everything... push them and hype them when they're down - soon as they make it - knock them!

it's all about loyalty - i personally support where i'm from, the local biggest team i suppose... it shows i'm proud of my heritage...

I support Newcastle when im at home, and liverepool when im at unil, best of both worlds, innit!!

Think u should be able to support who u want tho, its ur decision, not ur families or the place u live. When i wqas younger i used to support which ever team was winning!! :D

in really dont see how it matters who you support and where you are from

if you are dedicated and passionate to that team, and not just in it for the glory, then does it really matter?
