    yeah you can just ring up and ask to view one of the rooms.

    I reckon there will be something on, think there is every year isn't there.

    im sure i read somewhere they not doin fireworks on quayside this yr coz it has caused so many problems over last few yrs with bands, and queues and transport!! so u best check first, ring council up or look on their website :up:

    Not much happens at the quayside on NYE anymore, it was dead last year. The fireworks are now on earlier at the civic centre.

    I would say the only decent place to go would be Stereo where Tokyo Project is on. To be honest, that would be the only reason I';d spend new year at the Quayside.

    If thats not your bag, why not go to Central Station area, and head to Digital - book a room at the new Holiday Inn just across the road or the Vermont Hotel about 10 minutes walk away?
