The mail Can you sort it so that when you move house any mail you were due to recieve at your old house is sent to your new one? Say if some was sent to you before you changed addresses etc? Like a divert? Does it cost? Does it work? Cheers
Re: The mail yeh you can set it up for 3months or 6months, its not too expensive. about £15 if i remember rightly, i did it last year. some mail still ended up at my old house but on the whole it was pretty good.
The people who left my flat redirect theirs but I still get 4 or 5 letters a day for them, make sure you set it up quite soon so it's in place for when you move as it takes a while to take effect
£13.50 for a month, takes them about 2 months to get into action though. Best plan is to pay the £13.50 but also leave some stamped, addressed evenelopes for the person moving into your old house to send on.
Or just leave some sticky labels for them to but on the front saying Addressee moved with the new address, means you don't have to pay for stamps
I just dont want to have to come into contact (if i can help it) with my flat mate once i finally leave on the 25th  18 days and counting...
But if you get a lot of post it soon adds up, no point shelling out for something that you don't need, plus you have to buy envelopes and is more effort I've never had a problem, mam sent all my post from home to Manc for 3 years and is doing so no and never had anything lost. Anyway stamps are 30p
Think it I paid £15ish for three months. Its a very good service. Didnt take long to set up either. Well worth it if you have bank statements and stuff sent to ya because some people take ages to update your address.
