Lockers at the station? My friends are coming up from York/ Leeds/ Sheffield for the arena on Saturday and wanted to know if there are lockers where you can put bags and suchlike at the rail station? I think there are but does anyone know for definite? Ta!
Why not. Have a scat party first then there'll be plenty of free space I'm also concerned about somewhere to put bags etc. Last years 'cloakrooms' were a disgrace for bags becasue you werent allowed into the arena with them.. there was some shady portacabin where all the bags were going. I'd like to take a bag this year round packed with food, alcohol and whatever else for an afterparty.

If you're walking out of the Central through the main doors, the left luggage place is off to the left, past WH Smiths down that platform.
I didn't think they had them anymore since terrorism stepped up. There's not even any bins at Kings Cross
Never used the one at Newcastle, but the one at Kings Cross they put your bag through a scanner like at Airports. We left our bags at Kings Cross when we were down for a Newcastle match last season. All you could see on the scanner screen when they were going through was bags full of cans of lager
