I go down once every 3 or 4 weeks and it is not expensive at all! you can do it for next to nothing! It cost me £2.50 return on the 7th October to go to Turnmills, I paid £4 tube travel and that was it, plus food/drinks etc but i took food and red bull down with me so it worked out really cheap. Doing exactly the same for WildChild this weekend. You could quite easily spend more on a night out back at home.

I've always wondered why clubs further down the country open til first thing in the morning and the latest we get up here is 4am. The North East clubbers have a reputation for partying hard but sometimes people even leave before the 4am chucky out time to beat the taxi Q.

North easterners have a reputation for partying so hard, they start leaving the clubs at 1am regardless, for being so trashed!

I think even 4am is a depressing experience in most clubs in the toon - its better to quit while you at least have a decent atmosphere....3am maybe - even then, you will get people who will stretch themselves a bit. But with a 4am finish i bet people bunk off earlier.

I'd still say Londoners are better partiers (or people in 'London Mode') ... commuting and jobs are harder so people tend to go for it a bit more.

    Bollocks!

There is a larger population, far more clubbers, that's it, no great science to it.

Jobs aint harder at all.

Me mate and cousin work in London and they don't say the jobs are harder at all. The total opposite considering they get double the money we do up here.
