ps3 has all the technological edges of the xbox 360, onlie play is yet undecided. so basically its down to game choice and who has the bigger software library. if you wait a while until they test the same game on both formats you might ge a clear indication which is better

You can't just go on technical specs- the xbox and gamecube are both technically better consoles than the PS2 yet the PS2 still sells more than both.

The xbox 360 has the full support of developers this time round including the ones that made ps2 specific games- ridge racer etc

They are all developing for the xbox360 now because developing software for the PS3 from scratch will require an initial investment of over 17 million dollars and there are not many software companies that can easily afford that kind of money.

The xbox360 will be quite a bit cheaper to buy- ps3 uses blu-ray disks which will mean not only the conole but games are probably more expensive too.

The xbox also have a 6 month headstart so i think by the release of ps3, the better standard xbox games will be coming out (there's never all that many good launch games on any console) and I think this will give it an edge.

Online play out of the box is also a big bonus with xbox and sony still aren't confirming how they will be doing this- xbox lie works well and sony's online on ps2 left a lot to be desired.

The PS3 will be technically excellent but I can't see it selling as well as ps2 did compared to xbox.

Sill probably get both like. New nintendo looks interesting too....

PS3 is miles better but bottom line is the 360 is out next month and you have to wait 13 months for the PS3

could be just what the PS3 needs... hype died down over the 360, next christams coming around, people bored and wanting more...

PS for me! I can't get away with xbox's you have to have hands like chuffing snow shovels to pick up the pads

hell yeah! The controllers just dont feel reet, too chunky.

I love the BIG xbox conterolelr and anyway they changed them to smaller ones....

Plus the xbox pisses all over the PS2 i have both and never turn on my PS2

However the PS3 will rock it has an extra year dev time so will be awesome

Has to be the PS3 seen games for both systems and the PS3 blows the xbox 360 away.

I think the reason Msoft are realeasing there console early is to try and get ahead start on sales cause they know once ps3 comes out they wont have a look in

Champ manager on the xbox is awful lol

Footabll manager (by the makers of the early CM) is mailes better than the latest CM's

Found Football manager a bit too easy, hasn't got the same appeal as when they did Champ manager, the new champ manager on the PS2 is shit.

I'll be going for both the xbox and the ps3. The xbox is more powerful than the current ps2 yet the difference is hardly noticable so I reckon it'll be the same on the newer gen consoles. I like the xbox range of games more than the ps ones.
