Was sitting in the pub the other day...the sun was glaring through the window.

The amount of smoke of ONE cigarette was rediculous....

Genuinely can't understand why the government don't ban it in public places immediately!

I'm going to run for PM with my only policy to impose prohibition on tobacco.

Aye its rediculous like...you go for a quick pint with a mate, you absolutley stink of smoke when you leave.

It's a total joke how people have no consideration for those who choose not to smoke but are forced to anyway

That is such a load of shit! People have always been allowed to smoke in bars and pubs and only recently about the past two years advertising and campaigning for bans has increased I think. Because it has never been as much of a big deal as it is now people will sit in pubs and stuff as smoke. I think they shud have smoking and non smoking pubs. There will be 3 people in the local non smoking pub

Some twat came into the pub last night claiming that the ban was in force now, and that all cigs should be put out, until someone in the nicest way possible ( 'shut the fuck up' i think was the term) and pointed out the ban wasn't until April 2007. Been in the repubic a few times and pubs/clubs with balconies and covered outside areas say their sales are booming as smokers now go there.

Personally I do think it is a good idea, but think smoking rooms should be introduced for smoking punters if the establishment wishes.

Not just making everyone go outside cos everywhere is non smoking - that is possibly one of the shittest ideas in the WORLD really.
