We want to give local Hard dance DJ's a chance, as well as bring big name hard dance DJ's to the North East.

Any local DJ's are more than welcome to hand in CD's ( as unit 13 did ) for future sets at Loaded.

The last one was good, but the fact that it's only upstairs kind of wrecked the atmosphere and my optimism for it being a good night. When i went onto the balcony bit it was quiet, nothing happening and you could see the totally empty dancefloor downstairs as well as lights in the bar with some people doing some kind of work. They had tins of paint etc.

I'll probably go again but i think it would be a better idea to have minimal light downstairs and perhaps something happening on the balcony bit. "Just don't go on the balcony then" people might say but I like to go for a breather now and then and to have a bit chat on with people as well as using the toilets for a piss :)

I think the back room can have a good atmosphere like and glazby will make the roof blow off.Hopefully i'll be there

Agree'd but it just seems weird when there's nothing on downstairs. Especially when you could see people painting etc it felt like there shouldn't have been anything on.

aye maybe they could cover that room with a sheet (from ceiling to floor) or something so theres just the back of the balcony open cos an empty room will take the atmosphere away and doing that could still allow access to the backroom and part of the balcony

Yeah a black cover sheet would be much better as you could still have the upstairs open. I wasnt chuffed at all the last time because i'd seen it advertised here and i'm 99% sure there was no mention of it only being upstairs so after handing over my £8 or so I realised for myself. It was a decent night but i think a bit more preparation wouldn't go a miss.

I know what you mean about the balcony area, which is why we are going to have a mini chill out area with stalls etc, where you can chill, shop and more, but I'm sure you will agree It's a difficult area to use.

we would love to be able to put the event on in the main room, but unless it's packed out the atmoshphere would be crap, which is why we are using the upstairs ( for now )

If the night is suported then who knows what the future holds!
