It might not be as popular as it once was but to call it dead is a bit of an overstatment.

That's completely untrue, it's the other way around.

Some of the elitist attitude shite that gets posted on there is sad as fuck. I read both boards before you pigeon hole me.

It's how I interpret a lot of the stuff that gets posted. Promise/Trance/ This board/Mark is always getting ripped.

The stoneybroke post is indicitive of it.

Don't get me wrong, I've been ripping into cyber on here since I joined but Paul's claim is wrong. :D

Would have to disagree with that.

Disco is still class ands italo is making a massive come back.

Joe as a fashionista you may pick on this in about a year.

Some people make music and promote it for the love of it not for money.

You can always see though business's in music, after a while the lack of passion shows through.

I think what kill brain cells is dumbly following fashions and thinking your better than everyone SUCKER.

Sucker? You're not flava flav mate.

We all follow fashions, its human nature - acceptance plays a huge part in our social grooming... You follow fashions, I follow fashions....

As for being in it for the love... Good for you, music isn't my life - I earn heaps of money to live a lifestyle most aspire to achieve.... This is why I am better than you.

still contue living the dream in that bedroom of yours....

The drugs dont compliment the trance music like they used to anymore. The trance worked when the dancing biscuits kept you floating all night, now they just dont pack the punch and certainly dont get the hairs going on the back of the neck, hence the introduction of hard house and then the merge of hard house with trance, hard trance, gave a happy medium, but the north just doesnt have enough people that appreciate the music promise has to offer as most are happy to pay less and normally and go to the boat or something and these places offer easy to get pissed and shag a tart nights, totally not what a decent club with decent music has to offer. I hear most peeps up here say I wouldnt pay the amount promise charges coz its a shit night, but it is so not that, there needs to be some education into music appreciation up north and chemical lessons to produce the perfect partner to compliment the sort of cosmic nights you find down south!!
Progress, Hotdog, Gatecrasher at republic 1990's, Sundissential at the pulse, I could go on. But what I am trying to get at is these clubs had the fun factor with serious love of music and the need to share it with others, the drugs/small amount of alcohol(no beer heads) came after and there were hardly ever any people just wanting to look good like there are now. Where have these nights/people gone! The kids took over but had no lessons on how to do is with passion! They jus wanna get pissed these days!

    Thats all, promise!....always!!!!
