its because Orange phones have Orange software in them rather than the generic software which a lot of networks use

    Not anymore

Contract customers now have a national rate number

Prior to that it was shit though, 50p a minute

I have a really good deal with them, £45 per month, 400 any time minutes and 1000 texts.

Not sure if you can get phone to cut off once minutes are gone, but you can check your account online and see how many texts/messages you have left.

To be fair, it's usually better software too. The V6 should've been released in July, looks like it's start of October now! Dunno if it's Orange or Motorola's fault this time though...

Sick of people ringing me "on the off chance I was up" on a Sunday at 4am! When I put my phone on silent, they just came round to knock "to see if you're up"! Combatted one problem by by moving house & not telling people (feel sorry for whoever moves in after us!), should change my phone number and all will be sorted!

I've been wanting to change my talk plan since I was out of contract 6 months ago but the one I want is a new customer one. I don't mind signing another 12 month contract but I won't do that until I can get the phone I actually want, catch 22 situation...
