    Cock Heads On Ebay

I'm trying to sell my mobile phone on ebay. I list as an auction and a buy it now option. The first time I listed it a foreigner used buy it know but didnt pay and is now no longer a registered user. The second time i listed the same thing happened. I have listed it today for a third time and another bloody foreigner has used buy it now and so far hasnt paid for it. None of the bidders have any feedback either. It clearly states for overseas bidders to contact me before bidding and that they mus have feedback.

Its doing my head in now cos i really need the dosh

    Anyone had any similar problems?

Aye, its on here already but no one is giving any serious offers. My next plan of action is to not use the buy it now option.

Looking at potentially much less money for the phone then as higher bidders are more than likely going to be from outside the distance people are willing to travel for such a small item.

*Edit - Although I suppose everyone is going to be paying more or less the same wherever they're from. :dunce:

Make it only available to post in the UK maybe?

You can also set buyer requirements so that certain bidders can't bid.

Thought you could cancel bids? Just put no bids from users with less than 10 feedbacks and cancel any that have less that do bid.

    You can.

That won't work with Buy It Now tho cos, as the name suggests, the person is buying it straight away instead of bidding.

That's happened to me before. I think there's a way to make your listing available only to people who have a feedback above a certain value. If someone with low feedback wants to bid they have to contact you first and give you their i.d. so you can add them to the exceptions list. I cant remember exactly how to do it but there is a way!

    Buyer Requirements

Buyer requirements allow you to block buyers from bidding on or purchasing your items based on criteria such as whether or not they have a PayPal account, their country of registration, and their buying history on eBay.

Using buyer requirements, you're able to more effectively manage the types of buyers you'd like to have bid on or buy your items. While this may reduce your exposure to buyers who might make transactions difficult or more expensive, or with a history of Unpaid Item strikes, it will also reduce the overall number of potential buyers you'll have for your items. For this reason, you should think carefully before using buyer requirements to block buyers.

Buyer requirements are found under "Seller Preferences" in My eBay. Using buyer requirements, you have the ability to block buyers who:

Are registered in countries to which you don't post to
Have a feedback score of -1,-2,-3 or lower
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days
Are the winning bidder on 1-100 of your items in the last 10 days. (Note: This block will apply to all buyers, regardless of their feedback score, or you can choose to only apply this block to buyers with a feedback score of 0-5 or lower.)
    Don't have a PayPal account
The requirement(s) you select will be applied to your current and future listings and can be disabled at any time.

Yeah its their fault if they didnt choose recorded. Did you keep a receipt as proof of postage?

i just had my standard sellers rate of postage he didnt specifically ask for recorded or special delivery, but i didnt get a receipt for postage either.

i was thinking of sending him somethign with a few blank bits of paper inside and getting a receipt and then reporting it as a lost item of post?!

just i dont wanan get bad feedback cos i ahve defo sent them out, i personally think hes seen the package with a stamp on and is trying to get his money back out of me, he only has 1 feedback so could jsut be trying to blag me
