don't fall over, it really hurts on the dry ski slopes, the soft bouncy snow is much better:love:

It doesnt hurt when you fall over on snow at all, Skiing on a dry slopes much harder aswell, if anyones planing on going skiing id reccomend just getting a days lessons while ur there, thats all you really need if that if your a fast learner.

One of my relatives is italian and is heavily into snowsports ... she reckons that Livigno is good for "boarder-friendly slopes" whatever that means !!!!

I fancy having a go ......was supossed to be going to a place called Xscape near Milton Keynes to give it a try, but then found out i was pregnant
Anyway, the little one is probably old enough to come with us now.
Has anyone ever been to Xscape ??? Is it any good ???

Means its not full of wankers on ski's normally sporting retro 80's dayglow ski kit that you can see 3 miles down the slope. Technically its those mountains that have not too many flat bits as obviously unlike skiers you don't have poles to push yourself along and its a pain to unstrap and walk unless you're hiking the 20ft kicker you've just built :chill:

I started to learn to Snowboard at Sheffield Ski Village on the student night but it clashed with a good club night at Bed so started going there instead
