Gonna take my lass out for a slap up meal b4 the coldplay gig in december.. but got no idea where..

Its gonna have to be about 5pm.. anyone know anywhere good at that time of day?

Paradiso is really nice

Went on Saturday for 1st time

rumpolis italians down the quayside next to chase, happy hour 5-7 good food

ZIZI's just down from the theatre royal is lush - not too sure about the afternoon thing tho

Blackfriars has a good early bird deal and is one of the best restaurants in town

Thanks for the replies guys, gonna have a look at all of them over the next few weeks.

Its neither mate.. I always do massive things for her bday.. cos its on Boxing Day so she kinda can't do much to celebrate and it gets drowned out by xmas..

Not sure bout the hotel yet.. last year it was the copthourne.. might try the hilton this year..

anyway there dumps but cheap and for me easier and less hassel than a taxi home when on a night out . cheaper two.... stick with the hilton !

try the malmaison behind the picture and piano on the quayside, me and our lass went there a couple of months back. its really good. Nice big rooms, huge bed the works. Oh, the picture and piano does some good nosh aswell.

I wouldnt eat too much if I was going to see cold play i know that much. If I did the fucker in frontof me wud be soon wearin it on their back as soon the first song came on!
