    Habit goes monthly

We start our new monthly residency at the Other Rooms, Times Square on Friday October 14th with a Soma records showcase.

The Other Rooms is a cool, 300 capacity space next door to Digital. It a similar size to WHQ and will help create a wicked, intimate atmosphere on a monthly basis. (There is also a Camper van and a nice little balcony overlooking Times Square in there)

For our opening party we are delighted to invite the awesome Funk D'Void and one of the brightest new producers in the world, Alex Smoke (Live) . Support comes from one of Newcastle's finest DJ's Scot Nicolson.

This line up represents a tougher, techier sound for Habit and is something we are really looking forward to.

Now that we have a found a monthly Friday night venue we can really open our musical horizons up. We are booked up to Xmas and are very excited with the bookings we have made already.

Hope to see some you there.

    :)

Damn right. One of the most exciting producers in the world at the minute.

Incommunicado is one of the best dance albums I have heard.

    He will rock it.

FDV will be quality. Proper legend. Plays techy stuff, not too hard either. The room should be absolutley jumping.

Also cannot say enough about Alex Smoke - imo he is possibly the most exciting producer around at the minute.

Holden is already booked all this year Graham. Trying to sort for early next year aswell. Now that we are monthly can get a lot more DJ's on.

Me and Scott have a cool wishlist. Lots of DJ's that have never played Newcastle before. Will also be getting the likes of Desyn and King Unique back sometime next year aswell.

    Expect House/Deep House/Tribal/Prog/and Techier stuff.

    :)
