Dj -- FEES

    DJing & Football, imo, really cant be put side by side in that.

    For starters, to make it to the top in football you have to be extremely good, not just know the boss, if you get me.

    There are plenty of mint DJs around who are just as good as the top boys, but simply don't have the contacts, which means you are nothing basically!

    Youd be surprised how much djs cost , I have been quite surprised how cheap some of them have been

    Same here. obviously for the big names your talking big cash but some right up there arent half as expensive as u'd think. And you would be suprised how much they are actually willing to negotiate on there price, u can knock hundreds off there price its not a problem in most cases.

    I know of one dj who quote a price and the promoters got them for 47% of that price :lol:

    well i would dj happily for nothing but if it was my way of earning a crust i would obviously charge the promotor but would'nt go
    ott with the fee:D

    it is just demand and supply...

    i think they are worth it because promotors ARE willing to pay them that much...and of course the promoters are only paying that much because they know that hundreds of people are prepared to pay a bit of money to see these djs play.

    at the end of the day they only earn that much because people like us are prepared to pay alot to see them in the first place.
