How long did it take you to pass your test?

Im sending off for my provisional at the moment. I think im gonna have around 10-12 hours of lessons etc then go for a week intensive course in blackpool

now dont laugh but it took me 14mths, 4 theroy tests and 4 practical tests, got there in end though and it was best think i have ever done

Bet you were a bit relieved when you passed

you could say that like, wrote a car off 3 mths later like

bout 6 month, theres ment to be an intensive driving place somewhere next to Newcastle airport - or so im told like :spangled:

12 actual lessons, including my test, passed first time... back in the days of no theory test.

Although i used to drive my dads van when i was 16/17 - first lesson on my 17th birthday

Id rather go to Blackpool for a week than Newcastle airport

hairy muff like, was just thinking of time/money saving thats all

3 full days of constant driving and i had a licence...

didnt pay a penny for it either

If its a shit load cheaper i might consider it

im considering doing an intensive course like.... really need to pass and quickly too.

i stadtrd learning but then stopped again???

cant wait til i pass a whole new bout of freedom will come my way and i cant wait til i can take ellie to places such as ritchmond waterfalls and my dads at the drop of a hat!

i had 10 hours when i first turned 17, my instructor then was proper shite.

i started my lessons again in july and ive had 12 1/2 hours so far. my instructor reckons im nearly ready for my test, just gotta touch up on a few things.

hopefully ill have my license well before xmas

bookin mine next month going to do everything iv been meaning to do for years in the next few months

Took me 5/6 months, i could drive after 5 but failed my test n had 2 wait a month before i could take it again cause i was on holiday inbetween! Passed my second practical n passed my theory 1st time (hazard perception test is a bit s**t like!) never looked bk...... i'd b sooooo lost without my car now! its SCARY!
