First ever clubbing experience?

The Wag in London in 1988, acid house days! Quite an experience at the time, but would probably seem tame now.

Dont diss the Poxy Roxy man ! I worked there for a year !!
oo and Carios too! Then the company had a bright idea of moving me up to a shady club in Newcastle and I've never been the same since !!!



First clubbing experience? Probably Hacienda in 1991. Cant remember who was playin though

if so mine was 1994 the venue in spennymoor - bass generator and tom wilson? and it was football night (i-e every1 was wearing football strips)

if that doesnt count then it was amnesia in ibiza in 1996 - but as i was still slightly in my happy hardcore phase then it went over my head a bit lol plus we didnt stay till the end as my mates parents were picking us up outside

mine was at promise a week ago! was class!

went to BCM last year, but there was a powercut so it didnt realy count.

peach @ chambers in sunderland. not that i can remember very much. a lil too much vodka before we went out fook knows how i got in!!!

but i tend to think of my first time @ promise as my first real clubbing experience it's the first time i went out and really appreciated the music instead of just getting hammered and falling asleep in the corner...

rockshots in 1985 in the middle of the hi nrg era..what a wild place!!rammed to the rafters and even tho it was supposed to shut at 2am it carried on til 5am..that got me hooked ..

I think mine was ermmmm Shindig or Stonelove, u can see how I get the two confused they do both begin with an S and I was a bit mortal by the time I got there.

My first time that I can remember completley was Seb Fontaine at Promise (and no it isn't cause Im sucking up it's just I can remember it well)

my 1st clubbing experience was promise b4 it was promise,(cant remember wot the night was called) i had an amazing night, i cant actually remember the dj that was on wen i 1st went, but i can remember 4th time i went or something and it was FERGIE!
it was totally mint and really enojoyed myself, i been going to promise/foundation since!

on me hols wit me sistas, wen i woz about 13-14, think it was falarakie, but wasnt 2 impressed!

was a wicked night really loved it to what i remember!

Was either promise or shindig not sure tho. Was meant to be john carter but he didn't show up. Still had a class night tho. this was probs about two years ago now. Been goin to promise ever since!

Mine would be Legends when I was in year 10! Can't remember who was on - Jon Owen I think! Went to Legends for a canny while then Cogan took me to Promise when PVD was supposed to play! Been there ever since!

hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....garlands in liverpool....quite a few years back now wen judge jules wasnt quite as big as he is now!

i can rememeber sittin on the stagey bit near a bar...(all very fuzzy) havin had quite a lot to errr drink! had such a mint nite! that was the 1st dance club i went to anyway...

mine was sugarshack in 2000 sometime!!!that was only a bit ago wasnt it but seems soooo long ago!!how much better has life been since!

Mine was Shindig about 3 years ago. Enjoyed it. Havent a clue who played though cos i wasnt really into the dance music scene back then. Before that i always just went out on Monday nights to the crappy student nights there are at every club. They were cheap, but crap.

Went to Promise on its opening night for Jeremy Healy about 6 months after that. Really enjoyed that night. Pretty much been hooked on Promise ever since then with the odd visits to Shindig aswell thrown in.

yeah!!that was the only club i went to under 18 too!!then went to creamfields 2000 as my 2nd club!!then after that it was sugarshack ever week, then promise/crasher etc afterwards!!bet i aint had 3 weeks off since i started!but i do wish i was old enough or just did go out earlier!!grr

My first ever clubbing experience was the sugarshack in 1999 for their birthday and jules and scott bond was on, and i drank far too much vodka, and was sick everywhere!!!

Peach @ chambers was first for me as well....and the Courtrooms......chambers it was for me...

But im the same...consider Promise to be my first REAL clubbin xperience....

Fair enough I did goto crasher now and then before promise...but promise I goto regular now and consider it to be the bestest fing there is for me to do week in week out....specially wif all the mint ppl i go with...that..for me..makes promise wot it is!
