    Too many variables to say - length of time split from ex, closeness with said friends etc. If it was recent and feelings were still running high, then probably not. I'm just too lazy to deal with the fallout!

    i think it's different for different ages...

    With kids - it's fine - they're usally all 'snogging' each other anyways..

    The lad I'm seeing now is mates with my ex.
    But I got together with him years after I had split up with my ex though.

    It was a bit weird at first but we just fell in love.
    My ex and me ended on good terms so it's not that bad.

    depends how long ago u had being finished with the person... makes sense to ask if its okay really. other than that i reckon its canny shocking, especially if it was a proper serious relationship.
