promise next month whats going on?? the listings that were released had cor fijneman, marcos, adam sheridan and marcos in the same room, which was a welcome break fom the radio1 friendly line ups we've had all year, but apparently thats been replaced by a jules funky set and adam and john askew on the sunday. whats happening, have u really cancelled the only interesting line up for the last 12 months?? please say no, promise has quickly went from one of the best nights in the country to a night that is running out of ideas......... please tell me otherwise???
Well it seems more like Promise are giving Always a chance at the main room on the friday, possibly a regular thing once promise moves to saturdays? On the Sunday though it's Johan Gielen, John Askew, Adam Sheridan and Tulip. Not as bad as your making out really, John Askew is absolutely class, Sheridan always goes down well and Tulip never fails to impress. Gielen was terrible last time though. Sunday which to me seems like it will be the "proper" Promise that month has a damn good line up. Not radio 1 friendly at all now that Jules won't be on.
Because we have 3 Promises in two weeks the friday , sunday and 1st saturday something had to give . We have mixed stuff up to finish fridays with a twist . Saturday 10th september will feature Marco v 3 hour set , Matt Hardwick jon obir 3 trance gigs in 2 weeks would have been too much . We also have ferry corsten on saturday in dec doing a longer set . for next year we have a few suprises up our sleave musically and will see a slight change in the typre of guests .
Cor Fijneman isnt on at all though, and neither are good enough lineups to make people not go to creamfields/gods/crasher/goodgreef, which are all on the same nights and have much more appealing line ups tbf. thats if this post isnt deleted before anyone knows anything else is going. Sander Van Doorn at Gods on the saturday................... i might just give promise a miss like
sundays is a good promise trance line up the friday will appeal to the masses Sorry you dont like it but something did have to give Cor will be playing on a saturday this year . When you change round there is a bit of a transition period .
fair enough, but the august released line up was the best promise line up in ages imo. hope youve got something special up your sleeve to prove wrong all the criticism sander van doorn and paul van dyk wouldnt go a miss
if theyre all on the same night, ill be quite suprised if JOB played after he played twisted. really hope promise have something special lined up for later in the year, as currently theyre miles behind other nights in the uk imo.
compare that to passion sept tho, o'callaghan, and askew as well as the german, one of the best trance line ups ive seen in a while imo. Graham
typical promise "lying" about line-ups foundation closed within a year.......that funkion1 will bounce it all the way to the property developers. how did feedback go on thursday? :fart:
