Felix Da Housecat seen him twice now at sankeys, imo he is a class dj, plays some amazing tunes, got a set from him @ pacha and he totally rocked it think im gonna miss him in ibiza though, gonna have to wait till end of august wat other ppl think of him?
Got some of his sets, they're a bit samey think he may have contracted dalek syndrome His mixing Hhhmmmm... But after all of the above, i still think he's good (contradiction i know), enjoyed him at foundation not long back.
i know his mixing is tripe, but it aint all about the mixing, loads of top jocks cant mix for shit, dj rush, marco bailey, even mistress barbara is known to fuck up a fair bit too but the point being they play awesome tunes and get the dancefloor moving and thas wat its all about!
fair enough you've got to mix to some extent but tune selection does play the major part (not sure about mistress barbara though every set iv'e heard by her is always top notch) dj rush how ever but it just goes to show if you get ya name noticed the world is ya oyster. i can remember an interview by miss barb and she quoted whats the point in practicing to a wall in the house i wana get out there and give my music to the people
yeah mistress barbara is generally ok, but in quite a number of sets ive got of her, she does let a few go quite badly, as a rule though she is tight enough (in mixing... ) dj rush s comical at mixing, but he is big, and hard as nailz so who r we to think otherwise lol
In the 3/4 times i have seen him he's played more or less the same set ?!?! Could of sworn he'd been getting lesson's off Van Dyk
