Try there next time, ended up at Bellagio's (old Al Fornos) in Jesmond which was ok. Not as good as Al Fornos.

    Tall Ships! <3

Joe - very bad form giving wrong info!! 25-28 July!!

Although quayside units etc open from tomorrow, there is 5 stages playing music from mon - thurs 12noon-10pm, beer tents, big wheel, street theatre & 3000 young sailers etc!

It all will be well good but main event is Wed night from 10.15 where there will be fireworks, pyrotechnics, abseiling, aerial acrobats etc and all FREE!! Biggest free event of 2005 so i've heard (or so all the marketing has stated!)

    More info go to www.tallships2005.com

Try McDonalds. Might have to venture a bit further away from the water front but you will find one fairly quickly. Look for a big yellow M and a lot of greasy little kids with shitty plastic toys that are apparently cool and worth the price you pay to get them in a happy meal that blatently substitutes a greasy big burger for plastic. Although they tell you its a "Free Toy!!!1!!!1!"

Theres this 'Burger king' or some shit too. Check it out. The same as McDonalds but costs you more. The toys are probably bigger too.
