Removal Of Flyers And Promotional Material

It has come to my attention that promotional material is being removed by groups or individuals. This is not small-scale removal, Iam talking massive amounts of flyers and posters being removed from where we have placed them.

Habit have been more than considerate when placing flyers and posters in available spots and are more than happy to promote alongside anyone else in a professional and sensible manner. The fact that there are nights in operation on similar dates is irrespective of the fact that this is happening.

Iam not aware of who it is doing it and not in the business of naming names. This message is on the relevant local boards in order to outline what is going on.

I will be out and about everyday next week and if I personally see the removal of such items taking place I will be more than happy to go toe to toe with whoever is doing it.

Its not on and to be quite frank its f**king pathetic.

Its not poster wars when your promtional material is being removed completely and nothing being put in its place. Would'nt class the complete removal of flyers as poster wars either.

I would class it as a blatant p*ss take.

At least poster wars are expected. The blatant hijacking of promotional material is a step too far Iam afraid.

As stated Jess, I dont know at this stage. U only knwo when you catch people red handed, and Iam not in the game of raising speculation on who it may be. Just wanted to air my concerns, and like I say its not just space, its just stuff blatantly being removed regardless of someone putting anything in its place. Posters and flyers all gone in certain places.

    Def something fishy going on.

I understand that posters can be re-positioned etc. Not to concerned about posters. Understand that aspect of it to a degree, as it is difficult to obtain good positioning.

But its the flyers that is pissing me off. If a pile is left somewhere and there is plenty of room for other nights flyers to be there, then what is sense in taking the full pile of a rivals night then chucking them? Fuckin disgrace. I would NEVER remove flyers from another night and dont expect others to either.

If we find out who it is then they will be named and shamed.

Multiple shops/cafes/takeways all removing habit flyers and leaving other promtional material?

I am not aware cafes/shops/takeaways have some kind of removal scheme for certain nights and not others.

And doubt young uns think our flyer is that great to venture into all the places it is located and remove them all above any of the other material that is available.
