    Was!

Until Sports Interactive and Eidos split up (Think it was them 2?) then came the battle between Champ Manager 5 and Flootball Manager 2005! which FM2005 wins :D

Football Manager is THE Champ Man 5,

The other champ man 5 that was recent released is a shoddy attempt to fool people into thinking it is THE Champ Man 5.

Football manager is developed by the same people who developed Champ Man for all those years.. they own the engine for the game.

The company they used to work for own the name..

Football Manager is the way forward!

Champ Man 05 IMO. Shame it hasn't got the editor though, so you just have to wait for the patch to be released.

no competition, football manager is the real deal - champ man 05 is just an imitation that managed to snaffle the brand name thanks to eidos.

disclaimer: football manager will eat your life

haha... i dunno how paula lives with me on that :D

FM2005 is easily the best... the improvements being suggested for the next couple of versions look like making the game awesome as it still has a few bugs... give it another 3 years and it will be unbelievable

    Right.

I need an AM/R young cheap but good enough to play in the Premiership as cover for Wright Phillips as Simao doesnt cut the mustard.

    Anyone suggest anyone?
