Has Solid State on Galaxy finished..?

I went to listen to Solid State on Galaxy last night 6.50pm-8.50pm and it WASN'T ON!

I went to their website and it says Solid State is 'NO MORE'

Anyone know what happend to this GREAT trance show with Paul Kershaw..?

Paul Kershaw was definitely on last night.

I don't think it's finished!

I was listening through my DAB Radio on my PC last night so maybe they were broadcasting a different show on their DAB Radio Channel?

Me and Lee were listening off the live streaming thing off the internet. It was defo on

I think its just Paul Kershaw but not "solid state" if u know wot i mean.

They possibly lost the sponsorship with Sol Beer

hope you don't mind me posting on here to clarify everything, was just trawling through and found this posting.

Solid State HAS finished, but as you rightly pointed out, only because Sol have finished their 18 month run of sponsorship.

There's always a bit of confusion when this happens as Sol want it to be made clear that the sponsored name has finished, but the show obviously still continues.

In addition to this, there was a week missed due to Live8 and recently whilst my show was brodcast on FM, Galaxy doubled up with a broadcast from the Strongbow Rooms on digital and Sky.

that said, I'm still on Galaxy every saturday 7pm - 9pm wih exactly the same format as ever

Future guest mixes in August include Ferry Corsten , Nu-NRG and Paul Van Dyk.

Now wasn't that just what i was saying! I thought that there was a week after Live8 when it wasn't broadcast on DAB

Only thing is that they're a bit too short! Any chance in the future that we could have them a bit longer?

It's all down to what I can fit into the show I'm afraid. When I've only got two hours to play as much music as possible, as well as fitting in all of the news features / interviews etc it becomes tough.

I'm trying to change things so that I will get one hour from the dj concerned and use 30 minutes of it on the show. The plan is that if you like the mix you can go online and get the whole 60 minutes. Obviously there are some legalities that come into play with regard to music distribution, so I'm going to make sure my ass is safe before going ahead with this!!!!

If and when I go ahead with this I'll be sure to let everyone know
