No names but if you find out the names of the promoters it narrows it down (literally)

The good thing about message boards is the people that go on them tend to be pretty bright
They can see when a post is genuine or not
I,ll let you all make your minds up about this one
    My only comment is this
Loo reed must be very worried indeed
And yes i do know who you are .

lol rumour has it that loo reed is about as female as big daddy haystacks... now why would a man discuss another mans genatailia on a public messageboard?

    strange.

As for stonelove being the reason for a strong indie scene?!?!? HOW FUCKING ARROGANT!!!! There's a strong indie scene in the north east because there are kids that listen to indie you arrogant fucks :)

Bulletproof/Stonelove are good/were good... But they're played out - the last 3 years have been like listening to the same cd week in week out... smaller nights like casino clubs are often rammed to capacity because people are bored of the same old shit.

I wish stonelove good luck, but feedback is a million miles from stonelove... They have real line-ups... not "now thats what i call the strokes and 'tines 2002-2005" :D

stonelove is great your first time.
    ok your second time.
kind of familiar the third time.
    played out by the fourth.

I liked it for its unpretentions.... fat girls jumping around in drunken states is always fun... but it has no real credibility as an indie night.... was just good fun :D

How can you say a night that's had soulwax live, bloc party live, the libertines live and kasabian live in recent history be 'played out'... if you watch bulletproof lineups you'll often find the biggest bands of next year are playing for a fiver in...

As for the casino club, the nights there are wicked, but of course its rammed, it only holds 200!

the people that go to bulletproof would go if busted played.... haha no wait that happened ;)

The bands play for 30 minutes for a reason... cos people want to hear the strokes, tines, coral on loop while they drink their stella....

I'm not going to pretend I hate bulletproof as I go reguarly... but its a very predictable night. Anyone serious about their gigs go to see the bands when they play the cluny or the uni... bulletproof is good for getting pissed.

Anyway its stonelove that feedbacks going head to head with and other than jazzy jeff - they're nto big on guests.

any indy gig where you have to put up with some 16 year olds jumping up and down throwing beer in the air isnt on!

i prefer to stick to places like the cluny where everyone stands, watches and enjoys

i could still mosh it with the best of them, i seem to remember chucking you onto the crowd for a surf not too long ago

in newcastle, if there are kids jumping up and down it usually means you've come to see the band 6-12 months too late, where you could have seen them at a smaller venue with a 90% anorak male audience, notepads out the lot!now thats a night!
