Possible bomb in London

As does invading a nation... we're going round in circles.

This will surely start the Race Riots once again.

Can't believe this has happened, but it's like we've been just waiting for it to happen. There's hardly anymore we can do to stop it. I felt absolutley ill at work when I finally found out about it at dinner time.

It's went from the nation being on such a high after getting the olympics to one of the lowest days we've ever had.

I hate to say it, but it was intelligently done. Too many fatalities and everyone gets all gung ho and says "lets just go bomb them back", a la 911. Too few fatalities and little damage, and people just say "so what?"

This way, with maximum disruption and just enough casualties, more people start asking why it was done and begin to criticise our own government for its actions which have, ultimately, resulted in the attack on us. Also the damage to finance and the economy will result in businesses putting pressure on the government to change its policies.

This entire situation.. as joe says.. is not regrading religion.

To be frank you have to be extremely psychotic to even plan this sort of attack, regardless of the religion you support.

People are discussin on this board why this has happened, how it could have been worse and the possible motive or meanings behind it.. however this has happened and we find ourselves in the bleakest situation that I've ever witnessed.

Don't discuss how it could have been worse etc.. its kinda disrespectful to the victims and their families, as its pretty fucking horrible for them right now!

Definitely. Religion may have been around longer, but world had a significantly smaller population, and there were nothing like the wars that have been seen since the industrial revolution.
