    why have 2 ipods? 2 copies of all your music? 1 would have been more sensible then load the track into ROM. Is it another fake mock up?

    no - dipshit.

    2 decks allow you to play 2 tunes at once - ipods are just storage - THATS what i meant by saying load individual tunes into the RAM of the mixer unit.

    OTHERWISE you'd have to have 2 copies of all your tunes.

    But buying an mp3 once and storing it on 2 mp3 players isnt the same as buying a vinyl twice

    Cant argue with that, but you would still have to store the tracks on a card and not the mixer, otherwise you would have to carry your mixer around everywhere with you if you were playing out.

    thats why is makes sense that the mixer itself loads the tune into some kind of onboard memory - then let IT change the pitch - just have the iPod as storage - which comes back to the point of why have 2?

    pointless and gimmicy. so the trendies will love it!
