He is not raking it in on a Saturday at the Powerhouse, since Camp David and the Loft opened alot of the usual Powerhouse crowd have moved onto there making the Powerhouse very very quiet on Saturdays now

Technically, as Foundation was there first, anyone buying a flat knows the are buying a 'flat opposite a nightclub' when they make the purchase, and has no right to complain about a reasonable level of noise.

Its just whether it actually ends up happening that way.

satellite has been sold for a while, if theyve bought a central venue it could be that, its a cracking club

i also heard a while back that crasher were reopening satellite as one of the 10 crasher venues opening round the country, from someone who has got contacts though can talk shite at times :p

Wouldn't Satellite be a bit small for Shindig? Not sure what its capacity is, but it is nowhere near as big as Foundation surely?

Shindig / Promise could do with a venue change i reckon - as much as ive had tons of good nights there, its too far away from the main drag and the layout of the place lets it down ....... unless its rammed '99 crasher stylee then the place looks too empty when it isnt full.

Smaller more intimate dancefloor and some decent side rooms would be great..... just like.... turnmills ;)

The layout in Satelite would need to be sorted. The bar was too close to the dancefloor.

Promise should move to ikon for one night, put breeze and styles on, when all the charv's are in you throw in the napalm and watch them burn.

I doubt Crasher will open any new venues, its been two years since they said they wanted to have 10 clubs in the UK and havnt managed to open one yet. Also Gatecrasher One only makes money on a few nights, the rest of the time they struggle to fill the club

Agree with that. On a busy night, its a really good place for atmosphere but when it's half full it feels empty and cold plus there's nowhere to escape to from the dancefloor esp if upstairs is shut off

I personally think it will be a massive mistake if any of the nights move from Foundation , with Foundation being a "bit" out of the way i think this deters some of the trouble makers if not all from coming to the night/s and causing bother .. the closer to the centre of town then imo the closer to bother. Thats just my opinion though ... :D

Bouncers can sort that though.... paying punters thru the door is what you want - being more central means more passing business who might venture in... yeah, maybe a few more knobheads but also normal clubbers who fancy a change from the boat/sea/baja/legends offerings...

Unfortunately this is likely to mean more trouble for the gay scene though. I know most people on here don't give a shit, but some of us do! At least it would mean a decent club nearby though.
