    I had telewest for 6 years and its shit compared to sky, plus telewest will take ages to get it working correctly, they cant even get the red button work on all the channels yet!

    Do you have to subscribe to the full Sky world package to get it free?

    you cant get it for free
    its £100 for the sky+ box with free instalation.

    i bought me and my parents sky about 5-6 month ago.

    it cost me £100 quid for the sky+ box i got the other normal box for free.

    you have to pay £50 a month for a dual subscription

    We'll see! Sky are a bunch of ripping bar stewards , they charge you for fixing faults withtheir equipment? There's pro's & cons for both companies but i'm biased as i work for Telewest :)

    true, sky will charge you a shitload for faults with their gear. i remember when we had to get a new dish cos the lnb or somet had fucked up. we got charged for it. obviously wasnt owt we had done cos i dont think id have any interest climbing onto my roof to play with the dish.

    In the 6 years we had telewest we had 13 new digiboxs fitted due to faults (we had 3 of them on the same day!) at one point we were told the lamp post out side was to close! telewest :down:
