I think not

Clubland is a hard place in a city as small as Newcastle, still plenty to choose from. If you don't like trance who cares ? you don't have to go to Promise.

I frequent Promise/Shindig and Wax on now and again.

Healthy debate is what forums are for..no need for flying dummies. In all respect Mark closing down the board will have a negative impact on the club.

this is promise fart pants not some shitty euro pop dance cheese south sheilds club or other it is a known fact good advertisment is the key to any succesfull club, and for the board to close well i would'nt have known what dates promise was on if it was'nt for the board not that i go to every one like. i wonder how much it actually costs to run the board

i think it would be crazy to close the site! Fingers crossed they dont.

its the only way i really keep watch on who's playing apart from now and again talkin to folk about it who mention who's on when. Its a good way of advertising in a sense to folk that live further afield.

now thats not to bad an idea. but terms would have to be aggreed with the dj's of the that night and don't think most of them are keen on the idea of there set being recorded and sold
then obviously they woud want ther cut

don't mean to be rude m8 but you have no chance of that to be honest.

They wouldnt be able to sell the CD's for copyright reasons plus there is probably loads of unreleased material on there which the artists wouldnt want being spread about

can remember when there was cd's given out at promise TULIP/
KERRY JAMES was a while back like not sure if they still do it last time a was at promise was first one of this year

its just shoved in a separate forum the way it was on here so long as its not on the main forum it doesn't bother anyone so long as it doesn't run on the same night as inside out otherwise its taken down.

i dont get txts from promise anymore i used to but they seem to have stopped a good while back, inside out however i get them every other day more or less

No it wont close , not for good anyway ! ( not fact just my thoughts )
