sugarshack on fri dont shoot me or anything but on friday ended up goin to the shack...was to see some mates more than actually goin cos it was the shack. John kelly played a few corkers but his mixin was well shit and he played too many housey tunes for my liking! he did play members of mayday 10 in 1 though which sounded well good!!! he wasnt a patch on the last few times ive seen him though when he has been amazin!!! as for the shack itself....it really is shite compared wif promise...i used to love the shack tons but have only been once in the past year or sumit cos its gone crap.....and as for the crowd they are the dodgiest bunch of glowstick wavin munters ive ever seen!!! was a nice change to go back and see the place again but i wont be goin back in a hurry like!!
I went to the Shack aswell m8. It was the first time ive been this year as ya cant miss John Kelly when hes in the north east. I was expecting a better night, he did mess up a few mixes and didnt play as hard as he usually does. The shack has really gone downhill ya cant beat Promise. Lisa Lashes is playing first weekend in August i bet she tears the roof of the place.

I dont mind john kelly sometimes but when he played at g.k in ibiza last year..he's beats were out on his mixing for a canny bit b4 he even noticed I suppose he must ave been really fuct or summit :spangled:
sorry helz!!! normally i would have deffo come to see your return but i was workin till 11 and then andre randomly attained a car to come and pick me up from peterlee and take us to boro! and i had to be at work the next day too and there would have been no way on earth i would have made it had i come to newcastle! as for John Kelly...he's still ace...plays mint tunes....just for some reason he wasnt his recent amazin self on fri....but we'll let him off anyways cos his recent sets at the telewest, crasher and at promise have proved he kicks arse over alot of other DJ's mefinx
