    Erm, no, without Ian Curtis' death there would be no New Order.

    No New Order, where would factory records have gone?

    What would have funded factory records?

    Where would we be now?

    Listening to new romantic shit? I dont know.

    Number 3? Undertones - Teenage Kicks

    I don't care, stop your sentimental whining, its an average track.

    The track was glorified by his death, without which, it probs wouldn't be a blip on 'pop' history... just like 'candle in the wind' by elton john ;)

    I love New Order and Jew Division, but unfortuanley, not this tune. :(

    TBH, i couldn't give a fuck about his death, not my generation or yours. However, my point is, I only started to listen to this song within the last 3 years so I am not taken in by this 'blip' shit. It happens to be one of my favourite tunes.

    Sorry to disagree.

    Candle in the wind - Elton John/ Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart

    just like;

    Ian Van Dharl - Castles in the Sky/ Criminal Element Orchestra - Put the needle on the record.

    Just like it. Mebbys in your world.
